Number Pad not working

I am switching from Quicken for Mac (keeps crashing) to Quicken for Windows via Parallels/Windows XP.  The number keys on the far right side of my keyboard don't seem to register when used in this Quicken program.  There is no Numbers Lock key to activate on my keyboard.  It enters numbers just fine on my Quicken for Mac program.  I coulnd't find anything about this in "prefrences".  Does anyone know how to get the numbers pad on the keyboard to be recognized in the Quicken for Windows via Parallels?  Thanks for any suggestions

Greg"Yes.  The number pad is recognized in winds on my pc by activating the number lock key (similar to Cap Lock).  If this key is not activated on the pc keyboard for windows, that set of keys performs secondary tasks (symbols for which are found on the keys below the numbers).  The numberpad on the iMac keyboard that I have only has numbers on them and there are no secondary symbols.  Should I be looking for an answer in the "Quicken for Mac" area even though I have a Quicken for Windows program? Thanks for any help.Kristina
