How can I make Year-End Files from a Quicken Data File that contains multple year's xactions?

I have a Quicken File that contains transactions from 1/1/99 through 12/31/04.  I'd like to create year end files for each year in the Quicken File without erasing the source file data.  Is this doable?
    BACK UP FIRST - CTRL+B

    A. You could make copies of your file with specific date ranges.
File > File Operations > Copy

    B. You could make a copy of your entire file to revert to after the following operations.

    1. Year-End Copy : Current data File From 1/1/2000 : Archive Data File Up to 12/31/1999
    2. Open the the Current Data file with transactions from 1/1/2000 to 12/31/2004

    3. Year-End Copy : Current Data File From 1/1/2001 : Archive Data File up to 12/13/2000
    4. Open the Current data file with transactions from 1/1/2001 to 12/31/2004.

    5. Repeat the above steps until done.
    6. Open the copy of the original file and all of your data will be there.
